‘Summer Edition’ Afternoon Tea at Siam Kempinski

Experience a classic afternoon tea in an enchanting musical setting in the European grandeur of the lobby while listening to solo harpist Madame Wang performing melodious harp music every Wednesday until Sunday.

Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok’s Executive Pastry Chef Franck Istel presents the new “Afternoon Tea at Kempinski – Summer Edition,” which brings musical-note designs to your table with a tantalising selection of homemade savouries and sweets inspired by the summer blossom, paired with a choice of divine coffee or Ronnefeldt tea. Chef Franck has also added a selection of refreshing homemade sorbet, served at your table, including lemon, pineapple and mango.

The tea ceremony begins with savoury specialities, including mini chèvre cheesecake and apricot compote; Canadian lobster and chilli mango tartlet; artisanal smoked salmon, ikura and dill sour cream; ham and truffle cheese sandwich roll; and smoked duck, Japanese pumpkin and citrus pie.

The mouth-watering choice of sweets features coconut pineapple choux; hazelnut chocolate and yuzu; passion fruit and raspberry tartlet and touch of rose; lemon lime macaron; exotic baba, pandan cream and mango compote; and apricot madeleine cake.

The afternoon tea classic plain, orange, raisin and Valrhona chocolate scones are served with homemade clotted cream, lemon curd and strawberry jam and should not be missed.

Every Wednesday to Sunday, guests will be entertained by Ms Wang, the solo harpist, performing melodious harp music.

The lobby lounge is located on the ground floor of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. The “Afternoon Tea at Kempinski – Summer Edition” is available from now until Jun. 30 from 2pm-5pm and priced at THB 990++ per person paired with a choice of coffee or Ronnefeldt tea.

The price is subject to a 10% service charge and 7% government tax.
