EXHIBITION: ‘Once Upon a Time’

A new solo show by Boonhlue Yangsauy at Number 1 Gallery recasts favourite bedtime stories through the artist’s unique vision.

In “Once Upon a Time,” the latest solo exhibition by Boonhlue Yangsauy, the artist offers a powerful interpretation of popular myths and children’s bedtime stories. In these dreamlike and otherworldly new oil paintings, on display at Number 1 Gallery throughout December, the artist creates enjoyment and excitement, drawing much from the realm of fantasy.

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 6pm.

Boonhlue Yangsauy has participated in many exhibitions both in Thailand and overseas, including Art Expo Malaysia Plus 2017, Art Central Hong Kong 2019, Art Expo Malaysia 2019 and Art Fair Philippines 2020. He also joined solo and group exhibitions such as “Behavior = Identity” 2015, “Lady and Chandelier” 2017, “Love is” 2019 and “The Spirit of Six” 2019.
